From near-death as a child to heartbreak as an adult, one truth carried me: Father never leaves me.
My journey began when I was just four years old. I should have died three times—once in a flooded pond in my hometown, once in a rushing river, and once in a lake in another country. Each time, the water tried to pull me under, but God’s hand pulled me back.
I didn’t know then that these moments were seeds of a testimony. Later in life, my heart broke in ways no rescue could undo—I lost my brother to cancer, and only four months later, my mother. The grief felt unbearable.
But through every near-death and every heartbreak, I came to know the truth: the Father never left me. His presence carried me when I could not walk, His love held me when I felt shattered, and His promises became my anchor when everything else was gone.
This book is not just my story—it’s an invitation to believe that even in your deepest waters and darkest valleys, the Father is still with you. Always.
My story began when I was only four years old. I should not be here today. Three times in my childhood and teenage years, water tried to take me:
Each time, I should have been gone. Each time, I was saved. Not by luck, but by the unseen hand of God, who had a plan for my life. Those moments planted the seed for what would one day become this book.
As I grew older, I faced another kind of drowning—not of the body, but of the soul. I lost my older brother to cancer. Just four months later, I lost my mother.
The weight of grief nearly consumed me. I felt empty, shattered, and crushed under the sorrow of time I thought I still had but didn’t. In those nights, I asked God, “Why? Where are You?”
And in that quiet, painful place, I began to hear His voice reminding me: “I never left you. Even now, I am with you.”
It was here, in this raw season, that creativity was born. The words of this book came slowly—some days with tears, some days with silence, some days with strength I knew wasn’t mine.
What started as survival as a child became testimony as an adult. The book Father Never Leaves Me is the story of that testimony—how God’s hand pulled me from the water, and how His heart held me through the fire of grief.
This isn’t just about my life. It’s a reminder for anyone walking through loss, fear, or hopelessness: you are never alone.
I share this story because I believe someone else is drowning—whether in sorrow, fear, or pain—and needs to know that God is still there, reaching out, never letting go.
If He never left me through death, grief, and loss, He won’t leave you either.
