Father Never Leaves Me

Why I Wrote Father Never Leaves Me

Every book has a beginning. Some are born from dreams, others from research, and others from a passion for teaching. But my book, Father Never Leaves Me, was born from survival, grief, and the quiet faithfulness of God who never let me go.

I didn’t plan to become an author. I planned to survive, to heal, and to keep breathing after the storms I faced. But as I lived through near-death experiences and heartbreaking loss, I began to see something clear: my story wasn’t just mine. It was a testimony that needed to be shared.

Saved in the Waters

As a child and teenager, I nearly drowned three times — in three different countries. Once in a flooded pond in my hometown, once in a rushing river far from home, and once in a lake in a third-world country.

Each time, I thought it was the end. Each time, God pulled me out. I didn’t fully understand it then, but He was showing me that my life was in His hands — and He was not done with me yet.

Carried Through the Fire of Grief

Years later, I walked through the fire of grief when I lost my brother and my mother within just four months. That pain broke me in ways the water never could.

I felt abandoned. I wrestled with God. I asked Him questions I never thought I’d dare to ask. But through the tears, I heard His whisper: “I never left you. I never will.”

That truth held me together when everything else was falling apart.

Writing as Healing

Writing this book was not easy. Every chapter pulled me back into memories of fear, sorrow, and survival. But as I wrote, I discovered something: God had been weaving His presence into my story all along.

Father Never Leaves Me became more than words on paper. It became an altar — a testimony of His protection, His comfort, and His unshakable love.

My Prayer for Readers

I didn’t write this book for myself. I wrote it for you.

For the one who feels unseen.
For the one drowning in life’s responsibilities.
For the one grieving silently.
For the one wondering if God still cares.

My prayer is that as you read my story, you will find your own story reflected in it — the story of a Father who never abandons His children.

A Scripture That Anchored Me

“Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” — Hebrews 13:5

This verse is the heartbeat of my book. It is the truth I clung to when the waters rose and when grief threatened to consume me. It is the promise I now pass on to you.

Final Word

Father Never Leaves Me is not just a book — it’s my testimony. And it’s my invitation to you: to believe again, to trust again, to know deep in your soul that no matter what you face, the Father is still with you.
